Askew Bookkeeping LLC (“Askew Bookkeeping”) respects your privacy. This policy describes the information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
The consultation form may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, the service you are interested in, and the details you include in your inquiry.
Information collected automatically
The site is hosted by Netlify and uses Google Analytics. When you visit, these providers may process technical information such as your browser and device information, referring page, pages viewed, general location, interactions, and request or security logs to deliver, protect, maintain, and measure the site. Google Analytics uses IP addresses during collection to derive general location information, but Google states that it does not log or store individual IP addresses.
How information is used
Askew Bookkeeping LLC uses submitted information to respond to your inquiry, understand your bookkeeping needs, provide requested information, prevent misuse, and maintain ordinary business records. Consultation-form information is not used as consent for unrelated promotional marketing.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics uses a first-party cookie with a random identifier to distinguish visits and measure how people use the site. Askew Bookkeeping LLC uses this information in aggregate to understand traffic, page use, and consultation requests. The site does not use this analytics implementation to send form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other inquiry details to Google Analytics. You can limit this collection through browser cookie controls or Google’s Analytics opt-out tools.
Service providers and disclosure
Netlify hosts the website and processes consultation-form submissions on behalf of Askew Bookkeeping LLC. Google provides website analytics and Google Workspace supports business email, so usage information, inquiry content, and later email correspondence may be processed and stored through the applicable Google service. These providers receive information only as needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, or complete a business transaction. Askew Bookkeeping LLC does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Retention
Inquiry information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, evaluate a potential business relationship, maintain appropriate records, or meet legal obligations.
Security
Askew Bookkeeping LLC uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you submitted, subject to identity verification and any information Askew Bookkeeping LLC must retain for legitimate business or legal reasons. Texas residents may have additional rights under applicable law. Askew Bookkeeping LLC does not sell sensitive personal data and will review privacy requests in light of the laws that apply to the business.
